At the Heidelberg Marriott Hotel, as an Accounting / Finance Supervisor, you are a key part of our Finance team and actively contribute to shaping efficient, transparent, and future-oriented financial processes. Job Responsibility
Take responsibility for selected areas within accounting and ensure smooth daily operations
Provide technical support to the team and actively contribute to the development and improvement of processes
Independently review, assign and post more complex financial transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger)
Play a key role in the preparation of daily, monthly, and annual financial statements and take ownership of specific areas
Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, and maintain a clear overview of outstanding items
Support payment processes and ensure structured and efficient cash management procedures
Actively contribute to process optimizations and continuous improvements
Work closely with other departments and act as an important interface within the hotel
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, legal requirements, and Marriott standards
Requirements
Completed commercial training (Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or similar)
Initial experience in accounting or finance
Affinity for numbers and a structured, detail-oriented working style
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Good command of German and English
Team spirit, reliability, and a strong willingness to grow professionally
