Job Description:

Partnered with a Toledo-based company seeking a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations and help build a more scalable finance function. This role combines accounting leadership with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, payroll coordination, and executive reporting. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems, building processes, and supporting growth in a dynamic business environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close in QuickBooks Online
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow planning
  • Prepare internal financial statements, dashboards, and executive reports
  • Manage payroll coordination and related reporting through Paychex
  • Support year-end close, audits, tax coordination, and GAAP compliance
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support business decisions
  • Identify opportunities for automation and finance system improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
  • Owning month end close
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Background in budgeting & forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
