Aspora is building a global financial operating system — and finance sits at the heart of that journey. We’re looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager who brings both rigour and an operator’s instinct to everything they do. This role owns the end-to-end finance engine: clean books, compliant structures, sharp MIS, and founder-ready financial narratives across India and global entities. You won’t just report numbers — you’ll help shape decisions, spot risks early, and build financial foundations that scale with speed. You’ll work closely with founders, operations, product, and people teams, translating financial data into clear business insight. From month-end closes to investor-ready reporting, ESOP accounting to global compliance — if it moves money, you’ll be close to it. This is a high-ownership, high-trust role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building systems from scratch, and wants to help create a company that lasts — not just one that grows fast.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end finance lifecycle across India and global entities
  • Bring an operator’s mindset to finance by translating numbers into real business decisions
  • Own monthly and quarterly MIS reporting
  • Prepare cost-centre-wise and unit-wise P&L
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory filings, Direct & indirect tax compliance and Regulatory reporting across jurisdictions
  • Be the go-to person for everything from tax compliance to cash flow narratives
  • Own ESOP accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Own and master end-to-end reconciliations of all fund movements across geographies and entities
  • Set up smart, scalable finance systems, streamline workflows, automate wherever possible
  • Ensure compliance across borders
  • Work closely with product, people, and operations teams
  • Stay updated on global finance trends, tax regulations, and automation tools

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA with 2-4 years of experience
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Experience owning global finance operations across currencies and compliance zones
  • Fluency in P&L and cash flow
  • Experience leading month-end closures, statutory audits, TDS, GST, ROC
  • Experience with fundraise-ready models and due diligence
  • Experience working on or managing ESOPs
  • Comfortable with tools like Zoho Books, Google Sheets, Excel, and automation systems
  • Detail-obsessed but not a bottleneck
  • Love for building process and hate for red tape
