Finance Accounting Manager - Venture Capital and Private Equity

• Manage the full cycle of accounting for VC and PE investments, including fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and management fees
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Oversee the valuation process for portfolio investments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries
• Prepare detailed reports for limited partners and other stakeholders
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and controls
• Work closely with investment teams, legal counsel, and portfolio companies
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure proper tax treatment of investments

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with a wide range of people across different functions and levels of seniority
• Analytical skills
• Ability to manage and lead a team
• Be able to work independently
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who proactively seeks to improve existing controls and streamline processes
• Bachelor's/University degree
• Master's degree preferred
