Job Description:

The Finance Acctg Intmd. Analyst is a developing professional role dealing with problems independently, applying analytical thinking, and offering detailed judgment for optimizing data analysis. Responsibilities span financial integrity, ledger maintenance, regulatory compliance, collaboration on reporting processes, problem identification and resolution using data insights, and communication with stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Supports the manage and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data
Prepares and records financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
Updates the general ledger and prepares consolidated financial statements in accordance with management reporting requirements
Reviews and examines key controls for accounting process within the process handled
Assists in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products
Takes responsibility for the accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations on Citi reporting tools
Identifies and resolves problems using independent judgment for assigned products/business
Implements work flow or process change and redesign
Communicates with Legal Entity Managers across multiple locations on the status of reconciliations/accounting performed
Identifies and appropriately highlights/escalates potential issues relating to accounts with stakeholders and works with them for resolution
Provides guidance to new or lower level analysts
Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired accounting experience

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience
Role is intended to support critical Ledger maintenance activities such as Flexcube/FMS/CWM/FFS/PEARL
With experience handling ledgers, finance reporting and finance platforms
Amenable to work on Night shift schedule
Bachelor’s/University degree graduate
