Job Description:

The Intermediate Finance Accounting Analyst is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Demonstrates good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

Supports management and control of data flows to and within Finance applications
Ensures integrity and completeness of data
Prepares and records financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
Updates the general ledger
Records financial transactions
Prepares consolidated financial statements
Implements work flow or process change and redesign
Assists in management of processes, reports, procedures or products
Directs day-to-day work of junior level employees
Assesses risk when business decisions are made
Drives compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Requirements:

4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
In-depth specialty knowledge with solid understanding of industry standards and practices
Analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
Developed communication and diplomacy skills
Understanding of how the team and area integrate with others
Ability to identify and resolve problems using independent judgment
