Subsea Global operations, we are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team and support the full spectrum of accounting operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong accounting records, and supporting month-end close and reporting activities. The position plays a key role in strengthening financial controls and improving accounting processes within a dynamic, international environment. You will work closely with the Finance team and operational stakeholders and report to Controller or Finance Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, validation, and processing
Ensuring timely and accurate vendor invoice entry and payment processing
Resolving invoice discrepancies and liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders
Maintaining accurate vendor records and supporting vendor reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval workflows
Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies
Supporting maintenance of the general ledger and sub-ledgers
Recording accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records across all accounts
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
Investigating and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner
Supporting balance sheet account reconciliations, including AP and clearing accounts
Ensuring accuracy and integrity of cash balances and transaction flows
Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
Assisting with preparation of financial reporting packages for management and group reporting
Supporting accruals and revenue/cost cut-off procedures
Providing explanations for variances and movements in accounts where required
Ensuring adherence to internal accounting policies and financial controls
Supporting internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation
Maintaining accurate audit trails for all transactions
Supporting continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or AP/GL roles
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
Hands-on experience with accounts payable, journal entries, and reconciliations
Experience supporting month-end close processes
Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, or similar preferred)
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is an advantage
Proactive mindset with a willingness to improve processes and systems
