2-4 years of experience in accounting management
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Job Responsibility

Support the management and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data
Prepare and record financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
Update the general ledger
Record financial transactions
Prepare consolidated financial statements
Manage implementation of procedures and development report
Adhere to key controls for accounting process within the process handled
Communicate with Legal Entity Managers on the status of the reconciliations/ accounting performed
Deliver on routine accounting deliverables to provide defined outputs
Escalate problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures as appropriate

Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master in business administration (MBA)/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent combination of education
6-10 years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience

Job Responsibility

Supports the management and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data
preparing and recording financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
updating the general ledger
recording financial transactions
preparing of consolidated financial statements
specialized accounting, such as equity compensation, securitization, payroll and investment accounting
advising on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business
acting as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions
taking responsibility for the accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations on Citi reporting tools
reviewing and examining key controls for accounting process across multiple process being handled

Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area
Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

Job Responsibility

Performs control checks and configuration activities in a reconciliation platform based on business requests (e.g. auto-matching updates, accounts builds, exception owner updates, etc.)
Works with different partners (e.g. technology, businesses, etc.) in case of issues noted in the data / process and to ensure root cause are identified and resolved to avoid recurrence
Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic knowledge of related industry practices
Delivery of routine and defined outputs
Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures
Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
