Job Description:

The Intermediate Finance Accounting Analyst is responsible for financial data management, reporting, and specialized accounting within Citi. The role requires analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a solid background in accounting processes and financial controls.

Job Responsibility:

Support the management and control of data flows to and within Finance applications
ensure integrity and completeness of data to meet legal vehicle and regulatory reporting requirements
prepare and record financial transactions
update the general ledger
manage consolidated financial statements
resolve problems using independent judgment
implement workflow or process changes
direct day-to-day work of junior employees
assess and manage risk, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
strong understanding of accounting processes such as equity compensation, securitization, payroll, and investment accounting
knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements
analytical thinking and data analysis skills
strong communication and diplomacy skills
ability to identify and resolve problems using independent judgment.
