Job Description:

The Finance Accounting Analyst 2 is a developing professional role that applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.

Job Responsibility:

Supports management and control data flows to and within Finance applications
Prepares and records financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
Updates the general ledger
Prepares consolidated financial statements
Manages implementation of procedures and development reports
Adheres to key controls for accounting processes
Communicates with Legal Entity Managers on reconciliation status
Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or procedures
Assesses risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in accounting management (combination of education/experience)
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Good understanding of accounting processes and financial controls
Knowledge of policy and regulation
Risk management skills
Financial accounting expertise
Management reporting capabilities
