Job Description

An EDGAR Specialist at Toppan Merrill converts documents from various formats to EDGAR-compliant format (HTML), while managing a high level of communication and customer service with internal and external clients. This is a 3rd shift position.

Job Responsibility

  • Convert and edit Word, Excel, PPT and PDF documents to EDGAR compliant format (SEC acceptable HTML format) for filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Lead and/or assist with the preparation of various client financial disclosure documents
  • Manage client relationships and effectively communicate SEC compliance requirements and filing deadlines
  • Coordinate with colleagues and internal teams to ensure client SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) filings are executed timely and accurately
  • Proactively reach out to customers and effectively address any needs that arise
  • Quickly identify document types and required submission changes
  • Work closely with Manager to determine priorities and workflow

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PPT
  • Experience with GoFiler software preferred
  • Familiarity with Adobe products (Acrobat, Photoshop)
  • Strong keyboard/typing skills required
  • SEC compliance (form-type) and XBRL knowledge a plus
