We are looking for a meticulous File Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing physical and digital files, supporting office tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and organize physical filing systems, ensuring documents are accurately stored and easily accessible
Perform e-filing tasks, including scanning and uploading documents into digital systems
Assist with mail-related duties, including sorting, scanning, and forwarding items to appropriate staff
Utilize Excel spreadsheets for basic data entry and organization tasks
Set up and prepare conference rooms for meetings and events
Support receptionist duties when necessary, such as greeting visitors and answering calls
Manage shred bins by securely disposing of confidential documents
Keep kitchen and common areas tidy and stocked with necessary supplies
Occasionally deliver medical records or settlement checks as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience with paper filing and document organization
Ability to handle file boxes and manage bulk filing tasks
Proficiency in scanning and handling digital documents
Familiarity with e-filing systems and procedures
Basic knowledge of Excel for simple spreadsheet tasks
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
