We are looking for a dependable File Clerk to support daily administrative and records management activities at our Barnegat, New Jersey location. This onsite opportunity is a Long-term Contract position and is ideal for someone who works carefully, stays organized, and can manage a steady flow of document-related tasks. The role will focus on maintaining accurate filing systems, handling incoming materials, and assisting with routine office support duties in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain paper and electronic records by sorting, labeling, and storing documents in an orderly manner
Scan physical documents and upload them into digital filing systems with attention to accuracy and completeness
Prepare photocopies of files, forms, and other office materials as requested by team members
Distribute incoming mail and route documents to the appropriate departments or individuals
Organize file boxes and archive materials so records can be retrieved efficiently when needed
Review documents for proper placement and ensure filing systems remain current and easy to navigate
Requirements:
Previous experience performing clerical, filing, or general office support work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for basic administrative tasks
Ability to manage paper records, file boxes, and scanned documents with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in an onsite office environment on a part-time schedule
Capable of handling repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
