Robert Half’s client in Wareham is seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to support a short-term project involving the transfer and organization of files from an old building. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, efficient, and comfortable working with physical and digital records.
Job Responsibility:
Unpack and sort file boxes from the previous location
Organize documents alphabetically or by company name
Review files for accuracy and completeness
Determine which materials should be purged or retained
Create and label new folders as needed
Ensure all documents are filed in the correct locations
Assist with basic data entry related to the file transfer project
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay focused on project deadlines
Comfort handling large volumes of physical files
Prior filing or administrative experience is a plus but not required
