We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team in Allen, Texas. This is a Contract position ideal for someone who is highly organized and enjoys working with physical and digital records. The role involves managing file systems and performing essential administrative tasks to ensure efficient recordkeeping.
Job Responsibility:
Create new physical and digital files to maintain accurate and organized records
Prepare and box files from previous years for long-term storage and retention
Perform routine data entry to update and maintain file information
Scan and digitize documents for easy and secure access
Ensure proper labeling and categorization of all files for quick retrieval
Conduct regular audits to confirm file accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with team members to streamline recordkeeping processes
Handle sensitive documents with confidentiality and care
Assist in organizing workspaces to enhance filing efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience with paper filing and document management
Familiarity with scanning equipment and processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy
Capacity to lift and move boxes of files as needed
Understanding of proper record retention practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
