Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
  • Repairing turbines and resolving faults
  • Analysing electronic and mechanical error messages
  • Providing systematic approaches to error analysis and troubleshooting
  • Developing repair methods and documenting work procedures
  • Conducting training and instruction sessions
  • Communicating the process landscape and training new employees in maintenance activities
  • Documenting work digitally

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
  • 60 months of relevant professional experience as a service technician for Vestas wind turbines
  • Completed EFK or EFFBA and HV switching authorization
  • Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps
  • Experience with SAP
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Valid Class B driver’s licence
  • Very good German Level B2 and good English Level B1 skills
