Job Description:

You will be responsible for the successful training of gangs both in the field and in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong civils background, predominantly working across the utilities sector. In depth knowledge of civils is key for this position, with the strive to work thoroughly and efficiently, whilst maintaining mutual respect with gangs that you are accountable for training.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver and present training sessions in an exciting and constructive manner
  • Work in close collaboration with all departments
  • Administer training and accreditation records
  • Work in close collaboration with the standard functions to ensure that training materials meet the requirements
  • Develop and manage the training courses and plans both in the field and in the classroom
  • Accountable for all aspects of training and development
  • Set up creative and efficient training areas

Requirements:

  • Similar experience in training delivery in the utilities sector
  • Civil engineering background - trenching, excavating, digging, reinstating etc
  • Experience in delivering field based training
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive approach and manner
  • Ability to remain composed in a challenging situation
