Field Technician

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience
• Electronics
• Basic operational knowledge and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems, and AI
• Attention To Detail
• Problem Solving / Troubleshooting - Solves problems using creativity and innovation
• Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to use fiber test, line and antenna test equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives
• Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities
• Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds as well as being outside in the elements is an expected part of this role
• At least 21 years of age to operate a company assigned vehicle
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

RAN – Radio Access Network equipment - Experience with Nokia RAN technology is a plus
