Field technician

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, dividers, sheeters, and related systems
• Assemble, adjust, and test equipment in the field
• Perform onsite equipment setup and operational testing
• Implement customer-requested modifications
• Communicate service issues and observations to internal management
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing devices to assemble and start up equipment per drawings and specifications
• Work collaboratively with technicians, supervisors, engineers, suppliers, and customers
• Train customer staff on proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance
• Provide occasional after-hours phone or electronic support for emergency service needs

• 5+ years of experience repairing or maintaining bakery, foodservice, HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment
• Cooking equipment or refrigeration background strongly preferred
• Residing in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Nassau, or Suffolk
• High School Diploma required
• Trade School experience is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Capable of lifting and handling heavy equipment safely
• Working knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
• Ability to submit written service reports, expenses, photos, and videos as needed
• Willingness to travel locally or long-distance
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a passport
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
