Job Description:

Bring your specialist telecommunications technical capabilities to support specialists and deliver solutions to clients in the energy sector.

Job Responsibility:

Build and install telecommunications cubicles and equipment for energy sector clients
Test, commission, and diagnose faults in communications systems across multiple client sites
Work both remotely (client sites) and from our Adelaide CBD office/workshop, supporting a range of telecommunications projects
Collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver high-quality solutions
Contribute to technical documentation, commissioning, and testing activities

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III (or higher) in Telecommunications
Open Cablers License
Construction induction card (white card)
Current Australian Driver’s License
Existing rights to work in Australia without the need for additional sponsorship
Demonstrated hands-on experience as a field technician in industrial environments
Strong skills in telecommunications DC systems, rack/cubicle/cabinet installation, cabling (optic fibre, copper, data, ELV power), optical fibre handling and testing, and IP networking and security infrastructure

Nice to have:

Exposure to the electricity utility or heavy industry sectors
Knowledge of LAN/WAN, radio and multiplexer systems
Proficiency in technical documentation and commissioning/testing
