Field Technician

• Support daily exploration activities by working closely with the Exploration Team to ensure tasks are planned, coordinated and completed accurately
• Assist with field administration, including pre-starts, vehicle checks and health and safety reporting
• Oversee drill site pad preparation and access to exploration areas across site and regional locations
• Collect, package, record and dispatch samples from RC and diamond drilling programs
• Complete core processing activities including mark-up, presentation, geotechnical measurements, cutting, sampling, photography and XRF measurements
• Maintain accurate sample and geological data records, while keeping exploration work areas, storage facilities and vehicles organised, safe and well maintained

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance, with a proactive approach to working in line with site procedures and reporting requirements
• Experience recording and processing field or sample data accurately, with good attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced exploration environment
• Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including heat and site-based field environments
• Practical and hands-on, with sound problem-solving skills and the ability to support a range of exploration and drill program activities
• Current manual WA driver’s licence required, with prior field assistant or exploration experience highly regarded
