We are looking for a skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent role, you will provide hands-on technical support to clients, ensuring infrastructure reliability and addressing both routine and complex IT issues. Job Responsibility:
Deliver onsite and remote technical support for client systems, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues
Diagnose and resolve problems with network infrastructure, cloud services, servers, and end-user devices
Handle incident and request management using ServiceNow, ensuring efficient resolution and excellent client communication
Monitor client environments through tools like LogicMonitor and Datto, proactively addressing alerts and system issues
Conduct root cause analysis to identify solutions for recurring outages and infrastructure challenges
Apply patches, remediate system alerts, and maintain the overall health of client environments
Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers while ensuring continuity in client communication
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver a superior customer experience
Adhere to security protocols and documentation standards to ensure compliance with client and internal policies
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience, ideally in a client-facing role
Proficiency in troubleshooting network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and connectivity issues
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, or similar environments
Experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS systems, as well as enterprise collaboration tools
Competence in using ticketing systems like ServiceNow and monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor or Datto
Strong problem-solving skills across servers, endpoints, networking, and remote access technologies
Nice to have:
Preferred qualifications include industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
Experience with OS imaging and automated deployment tools like Ghost, Sysprep, or unattended installs
