An exciting opportunity for a Field Supervisor (Electrical) to join Service Stream. Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Field Supervisor (Electrical) to join our growing company. Our Field Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination, supervision and quality control of field crews (including contractors), coordinates complex maintenance programs and monitors KPI performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibility
Lead and supervise electrical field crews and contractors across maintenance and project activities
Ensure effective supervision of Apprentice’s
Oversee the planning, prioritisation & supervision of preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance activities across the operational area & resources within the works management system
Monitor, manage and coordinate works to ensure compliance with contract KPI’s and implementing corrective actions to address non compliance
Act as technical supervisor for Service Stream’s registered electrical contractors’ license
Maintain compliance with training requirements by coordinating the training of all staff and sub- contractors per training matrix with support from the Operations Manager
Review and approve timesheets to ensure accurate capture of applicable hours against work orders
Set and manage performance, safety and conduct expectations
Ensure all work is carried out safely and of a high quality consistent with relevant WHS policies, procedures & retail standards, with proper risk assessments, permits and environmental controls in place
Liaise with the client and its customers to appropriately manage the client’s network, plant and community expectations
Ensure field staff and activities are compliant with Public Authority requirements for provision of services to the network and working in public areas
Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices, asset condition management and operational efficiency
Requirements
Fully qualified and licensed electrician with experience in industrial electrical & controls systems
Flexible approach and well developed contract management skills
Strong client focus and ability to negotiate with the client
Successful applicants must obtain and maintain a satisfactory critical infrastructure background check in accordance with AusCheck requirements (mandatory)
