Job Description:

Field Stewards are responsible for protecting the tulip fields while enhancing the guest experience. This role combines light security, guest assistance, and on-the-ground presence to ensure the field remains clean. This role helps direct visitors to follow the rules, treat the flowers with care, and leave with a positive experience. Field Stewards must be comfortable politely but confidently enforcing rules and addressing issues in real time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Clean up the field to pick up damaged flowers and/or garbage and ensure paths are clean and clear
  • Provide friendly guidance on how and where to pick flowers
  • Return any items found in the field to guest services
  • Monitor guest behavior throughout the fields & intervene when guests step into restricted areas or handle flowers improperly
  • Prevent damage to flowers, pathways, and displays
  • Escalate repeat or serious issues to a manager
  • Answer guest questions (directions, picking rules, exits, restrooms)
  • Offer to take photos for guests and groups
  • Help manage crowd flow in high-traffic photo areas and ensure props are being used with respect
  • Maintain authority without confrontation
  • Use approved language when correcting guests or escalate to a manager as needed

  • Must be 16+ (18+ preferred)
  • Comfortable communicating with guests
  • Clear communication skills
  • Calm under pressure during peak times
  • Comfortable standing for long periods
  • Reliable transportation to and from the site
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
  • Must be available weekends
