We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician in Charlotte, NC, focused on delivering exceptional customer service and technical support for our security technology products, including installations, maintenance, and repairs. As a Field Service Technician (FST), you will help us ensure a seamless customer rollout of our life saving products.
Job Responsibility:
Providing on-site maintenance
Troubleshooting technical issues
Performing installations
Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship-building
Supporting product demos and installations
Providing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to existing field units
Performing basic field service tasks and documenting work
Independently resolving break fixes
Completing administrative tasks such as expenses, work orders, and RMAs
Leading special event support activities
Assisting in on-the-job training of new personnel and third-party service providers
Requirements:
Technical proficiency with hardware and software
Troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication
Strong customer relationship management
Experience in technical service roles
Customer service experience
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Willingness to travel 75-85% regionally
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
