Job Description:

You will be servicing and repairing the complete range of Professional appliances installed in a wide range of commercial applications, companies & businesses. For example, industrial washing machines, tumble dryers and laboratory equipment washers. You will also be required to work in a medical environment, in hospitals and CSSD environments. As a Miele Professional Technician, no two days are the same and you will experience different working environments each and every day. Some out of area travel, occasional stays away from home and out of hours work may be required and we ask for flexibility around this element.

Job Responsibility:

  • Servicing and repairing the complete range of Professional appliances installed in a wide range of commercial applications, companies & businesses
  • Carry out duties in line with customer requirements and Service KPI demands including planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair and electrical safety testing
  • Developing and maintaining service plans for the product range, exploring new business opportunities i.e. service contracts, planned maintenance schedules
  • Responsible for the preparation of jobs, spares returns, vehicle maintenance, software downloads or updates and essential administration

Requirements:

  • Experience in a technical role with good IT skills
  • Experience of working with commercial appliances
  • An understanding of customer service best practice
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
  • A sense of best practice and teamwork
  • Experience with Medical CSSD equipment such as washer disinfectors and sterilisers would be of particular interest
