The Field Service Technician II will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. This is where we transform healthcare together by cleaning, disinfecting, operational function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non-Baxter products. In addition to the repair work, the FSTII is also responsible for performing the same responsibilities as a FSTII related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. This position requires operating a fleet vehicle in a safe manner as well as direct customer contact. Additionally, will provide 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts in a timely and professional manner.
Job Responsibility:
Perform electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products
Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components
Use appropriate tools for adjustments and repairs
Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays
Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1680 pounds
Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contract
Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging from cargo van up to 26,000 pound truck
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Valid driver's license and driving record
Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
