Job Description

Intratek Computer, Inc. is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated parking systems and related field equipment. This role focuses on supporting parking technology including ticketing kiosks, payment terminals, entry and exit gates, cameras, and other electronic devices used within parking facilities. The technician will perform hands-on field work installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure parking systems remain operational and reliable. This position is ideal for a technician with experience working with electronic devices, low-voltage systems, or field technology who enjoys diagnosing problems and repairing equipment in a real-world environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of parking equipment such as ticketing kiosks, payment devices, entry/exit gates, and related field hardware
  • Respond to service requests and diagnose equipment issues including hardware malfunctions, cabling problems, and connectivity issues
  • Perform basic network and device troubleshooting to restore system functionality
  • Install and maintain structured cabling and connections for field devices and networked equipment
  • Support basic troubleshooting of camera systems and electronic components used in parking operations
  • Conduct low-voltage diagnostics and power testing using tools such as multimeters, cable testers, and tone generators
  • Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation when performing installations or repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of field equipment to reduce downtime
  • Maintain accurate service notes and documentation of repairs, system changes, and equipment configurations
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors when additional technical support or replacement parts are required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in field service, device support, low-voltage systems, or technical equipment maintenance
  • Experience installing or troubleshooting electronic equipment such as kiosks, cameras, access systems, or similar devices
  • Familiarity with structured cabling and basic network connections
  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, cable testers, or tone generators
  • Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field environment and manage service tasks efficiently

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting parking systems, kiosk devices, access control systems, or camera systems
  • Previous experience in field service, facilities technology support, or similar hands-on technical roles
