Home-based Field Service Engineer supporting paper manufacturing customers across the North West. Part of the Northern Service Team, providing 24/7 technical support for QCS and DCS systems. This role combines hands-on field service, customer support, and preventative and corrective maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver Service Agreement scope, including preventative and corrective maintenance
Support, configure, calibrate, modify, and troubleshoot QCS/DCS equipment
Provide on-site and remote technical support, including out-of-hours assistance
Participate in 1 week in 3 on-call rota
Build strong working relationships with production and engineering teams
Advise customers on maintenance, operational methods, process measurement, and control
Travel across the UK as required
Prepare technical reports using ServicePro and other reporting tools
Requirements:
Minimum HNC in Electrical or Measurement & Control Engineering
