We currently have an immediate opening for a Field Service Representative, based in Lisbon, Portugal, reporting to the Manager, Fleet Operators and Service Program Management. To further Bombardier's commitment to providing its clients with an amazing customer experience, we are actively seeking a highly motivated professional to enhance our technical Field Service department.
Job Responsibility:
Provide aircraft troubleshooting guidance when aircraft grounded, in maintenance or experiencing technical issues
Provide on-site guidance to our customers and facilitate the integration of Bombardier Business aircraft into the customer's operation
Provide information and informal training on technical, operational, and logistical matters
Set priorities and effectively escalate technical and/or aircraft operational concerns
Update Bombardier's management of customer's key aircraft operational and maintenance concerns/issues
Identify areas of the customer's operation or procedures suitable for improvement
Influence customers to take action(s) recommended by Bombardier
Interface with the customer's organization at all levels
Provide reports in accordance with established requirements and schedule
Lead and/or support Business Aircraft field teams
Understand and effectively utilize Bombardier's internal processes
Represent Field Services on defined Customer Teams
Build effective working partnerships
Identify and escalate operator's fleet repetitive issue
Travel to Service Facilities
Share AW, SBs, and other relevant documentation
Partake in customer meetings for fleet reliability reviews
Requirements:
At least 5 years of aviation maintenance experience
At least 2 years of experience with Bombardier product (Challenger and/or Global aircraft)
Strong aircraft troubleshooting skills
Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications
Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies
Business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence
Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require
Self-driven and have a problem-solver attitude
Nice to have:
EASA or FAA licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic
