As a Field Service Engineer, you play a direct role in keeping advanced semiconductor systems running at peak performance. Your work enables the production of microchips that power everyday technologies. At ASML, you will support customers by installing, maintaining, and improving complex equipment on-site. You will help transfer knowledge and build strong partnerships with customers while contributing to continuous innovation. In this Field Service Engineer role, you will work independently while collaborating with teams to deliver reliable results and improve system performance.
Job Responsibility
Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems
Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and customer scheduling
Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams
Train customer staff on system use, maintenance, and best practices
Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry
Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation tools)
Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes
