Job Description:

As a Field Service Engineer, you are the driving force behind innovative solutions in our Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger, High-Speed Separator and Decanter (GPHE, HSS and DEC) business unit. You engage directly with customers, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and offer tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and sustainability. Your role is dynamic and impactful, involving market analysis, strategic sales planning, and hands-on customer interactions. By leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen, you help clients achieve their goals while contributing to a greener future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the GPHE, HSS and DEC lifecycle: From commissioning, installation, testing, repair, and maintenance to condition monitoring and audits
  • Solve technical challenges: Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical issues
  • Empower customers: Train customers on product features and functionalities
  • Drive efficient service: Prepare and execute service jobs quickly and effectively
  • Document thoroughly: Create detailed service reports and update relevant IT systems
  • Champion continuous improvement: Report unsafe practices and identify sales opportunities
  • Provide proactive support: Offer service advice and potentially execute service in our centers
  • Develop others: Train and mentor Field Service engineers and supervise service jobs

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or FP in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • At least two years of demonstrated experience
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and/or English is highly valued
  • Knowledge of heat exchangers and separation technology is a plus
  • Based in the Madrid area (other locations considered)
  • Available to travel throughout Spain and Portugal
