As a Field Service Engineer, you won’t just fix equipment—you’ll be a trusted technical partner to some of the most advanced scientific organizations in the world.
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Comecer equipment at customer sites across the U.S. and Canada
Provide remote Level 1 & 2 technical support via phone and online help desk
Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, leak testing, and filter replacements
Execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and participate in IQ/OQ/PQ activities
Clearly explain diagnoses and repairs to customers with professionalism and confidence
Document service activities using FUSION service management software
Support the growth of after‑sales service offerings, including maintenance agreements, upgrades, and spare parts
Manage spare parts, consumables, and inventory to ensure customer uptime
Assist in negotiating service contracts and maintenance packages
Organize and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and spare parts lists
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams—representing both Comecer and ATS brands
Participate in ongoing technical and product training
Collaborate across engineering, sales, and service planning teams
Expand your professional network within advanced therapy and pharmaceutical manufacturing
Requirements:
5+ years of industrial technical experience (Mechanical/Electrical diploma or equivalent)
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Experience working with automation systems and control interfaces
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Proven customer‑facing experience in time‑critical, regulated environments
A continuous improvement mindset with experience in root cause analysis
Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)
Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Eligible to travel domestically and internationally within 30 days of hire
Legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle (essential job function)
