As a Field Service Engineer (FSE), you are the front-line technical ambassador on the ground, ensuring the successful installation, commissioning, servicing, and training of Petersime’s advanced hatchery technologies like incubators, HVAC solutions, hatchery equipment and electronic control systems worldwide. You will work closely with local teams, supervise local helpers and contractors, and customers to deliver high-quality service and represent the company’s dedication to customer satisfaction and excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Execute mechanical, electrical, and electronic installation and commissioning of incubators, HVAC systems, and hatchery equipment
Ensure necessary documentation prior and during installation
Present the project to the local team
Supervise local labour and contractors during project execution
Coordinate the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic installation
Perform initial checks for damaged or missing parts
Coordinate site activities and ensure the availability of necessary documentation
Conduct weekly project follow-ups with the customer’s project manager
Monitor and maintain installation quality throughout the process
Reporting on the installation progress weekly to project stakeholders
Complete and submit timely and accurate all technical commissioning, administration and handover reports to the GTS and Service Department
Provide on-site technical support and perform troubleshooting activities
Identify and resolve issues independently while maintaining communication with the technical team, ensuring customer satisfaction and system performance
Train hatchery staff in the operation, use, and basic maintenance of systems during and after commissioning to ensure correct use and maintenance of the equipment
Requirements:
Degree or certification in Electromechanics, Electricity, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
Proven experience in field service, installation and project supervision
Fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently and effectively in diverse and multicultural environments
Willing and able to travel internationally up to 90% of the time
