Field Service Engineer

• Maintain and service all products distributed by EDAP
• Support US Sales and Applications organizations and market growth initiatives
• Provide high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining systems to eliminate downtime
• Install and continuously service all EDAP products in the US market
• Complete all remedial service actions, standard system checks, and required hardware/software upgrades
• Maintain good customer service reputation by complying with regulatory requirements
• Ensure quality system requirements are met & maintained
• Report and document ALL service issues, repairs, and faults
• Provide feedback on product performance anomalies and suggest service improvements
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support
• Manage inventory and return unused/failed parts promptly
• Promote service contract offerings and assist in selling service agreements
• Manage assigned territory
• Perform preventative maintenance on time
• Provide expeditious on-site response and minimize equipment downtime

• 5+ years of field service experience
• Extensive knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting
• Must pass extensive background check, drug testing
• Must have clean driving record
• Required immunizations/vaccinations (Hepatitis A & B, Chicken Pox, MMR, Tetanus, Tuberculosis, Influenza)
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 30-50 lbs
• Past experience with medical devices and IT connections in medical facilities is a plus
