To execute planned and emergency service activities safely following Sulzer standard operating procedures to deliver best in class service to our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Strip, inspect and rebuild such as Pumps, Mixers, Compressors, Gearboxes and within different sectors and by different OEM’s machinery following pre-established work scopes or using own judgement in situations where no work scope could be defined i.e. emergency repairs, problem solving etc
Work to prescribed clearances/tolerances as dictated by the manufacturer’s specifications or engineering practice
Taking on responsibility for writing work procedures when required
Carry out point of work safety assessments of your work area at least once a day or when changing activities
Complete quality documentation as required by Sulzer quality systems or the job instructions
Ensure your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
3-5 Years of experience
Experience of assembly, operation and testing of pumps and associated equipment
Experience of installation and commissioning activity within a contracting environment
