As a Field Service Engineer specialising in industrial equipment, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing expert installation, maintenance, and repair services. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will ensure that our machinery operates at peak performance, minimising downtime and maximising client satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of industrial machinery on-site
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently to reduce client downtime
Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment use and maintenance
Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions
Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide feedback and improve product performance
Manage your schedule effectively to meet customer commitments and respond to emergency call-outs
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times during field operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role within the industrial engineering sector
Strong understanding of industrial machinery, electronics, and mechanical systems
Relevant technical qualifications such as a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote role
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the South East region
Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
