Job Responsibility

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of Bizerba weighing and labelling machinery at customer sites across North England
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports using company systems
  • Collaborate with the technical support and sales teams to identify and address customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
  • Travel regularly within the designated territory to meet customer requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role, preferably within the retail or industrial weighing and labelling sector
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of industrial equipment and electronic control systems
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the North England region
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent are desirable
