Job Description:

As our Field Service Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team of engineers who assist our Customer Support (CS) organization install, repair and maintain ASML systems at customer sites. You will ensure that our chipmaking systems work as they should – and be part of the technology innovation that’s moving the world forward.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure a safe working environment during all service activities
  • Install and qualify equipment at customer locations, including assembly, alignment, and testing
  • Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs to restore system functionality
  • Escalate complex problems promptly to technical support teams when needed
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues effectively
  • Perform routine maintenance and optimize system performance to prevent downtime
  • Train customers on system operation and basic maintenance procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering required, or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience will be accepted
  • Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechatronics, optics, vacuum components, semiconductor processes, and relevant software
  • Familiarity with project coordination and technical troubleshooting
  • For JG5: 1+ years of ASML DUV lithography experience or semiconductor industry experience
  • For JG6: 3+ years of ASML DUV lithography experience or semiconductor industry experience
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work
  • Can learn and apply new information or skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
