Job Description

About the role: We are looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to manage and grow a defined territory across the North East of England. This is a field-based role focused on developing strong, long-term relationships with end users, identifying opportunities for pump and rotating equipment repair, maintenance, and service solutions, and supporting customers from initial enquiry through to project completion. You will work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver best-value technical solutions, respond to tenders and frameworks, and drive regional growth through proactive account management and new business development. The role combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and a strong customer-first approach.

Requirements

  • technically minded sales professional with experience in the pump or rotating equipment industry, ideally within aftersales, service, repair, or maintenance environments

  • excellent communicator and negotiator, comfortable managing your own workload and territory, and motivated by developing new opportunities while maintaining existing accounts
  • strong engineering background
  • a full UK driving licence
  • flexibility to travel
