The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the service to our expanding customer network base covering an area surrounding Dublin. We are increasing our product range and customer support; therefore, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team of mobile Service Engineers. This position reports to the Area service Manager and is part of the Equipment Services team located in Ireland and will be fully remote.
Job Responsibility
Plan and coordinates activities concerned with installing equipment
Investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment
Eliminating future operational or service difficulties
Provide advice on the use and care of instruments to customers
Plan & organize preventive maintenance visits
Maintain on-going communication with other Company staff
Ensure adequate liaison with and support for the Sales team
Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with other field service staff and the Sales force
Seek opportunities to expand the after-sales support business
Comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Policy
Requirements
Current Driving license
Aptitude towards rapid, parallel and repeatable execution of defined maintenance tasks to an aggressive timetable
Resilient in the face of internal and external customers’ demands
Nice to have
Knowledge of Life sciences or service business and customer base
Appropriate engineering or scientific education
Experience of Service Support role in similar industry
