Job Responsibility:
Inspire, develop, and lead a new team of up to 12 Territory Development Executives who call on independent retailers, convenience stores, small-format grocery outlets, and foodservice customers
Represent the iconic Lucozade Ribena Suntory portfolio driving sales, visibility, and brand passion across your region
Set the vision, strategy, and energy for your team ensuring they're trained, motivated, and equipped to perform at their best every day
Take ownership of regional sales performance, delivering against ambitious targets across multiple channels and empowering your team to seize every selling opportunity
Manage budgets, controlling costs, and providing valuable business intelligence to support senior management
Be the driving force behind a culture of excellence ensuring we not only meet but exceed expectations for our client and retail partners
Talent programme - responsible for working with our in-house recruitment team, taking responsibility for regional recruitment, minimizing churn and providing training, developing and nurturing the team to be their very best
Team management - including performance management
Provide senior management support to the National Sales manager
Delivering against key sales targets and key performance indicators
Plan and organize regional meetings and cascade communications to the team
Analyse data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and underlying trends
Requirements:
Previous experience in managing a sales team, ideally at area level
An understanding of retail / FMCG preferred
A Full UK driving licence. Happy to drive a manual vehicle
