Job Responsibility:
Identify and contact selected restaurants through cold calls, walk-ins and planned meetings
Manage the full sales process, from first contact to closing the deal and publishing the restaurant on TheFork and partner websites
Present and sell TheFork products and services, including promotions, software tools, booking widgets, and training and marketing solutions
Explain clearly how TheFork Manager and the TheFork network can help restaurants grow their business
Manage your own sales pipeline and make regular outbound calls to potential customers
Follow up with prospects, handle questions and objections, and find solutions to move deals forward
Negotiate commercial terms, including rates and margins, and close new business agreements
Represent TheFork professionally in all interactions, both in person and online
Work closely with sales operations, supplier support and account management teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Take part in trade events, meetings with partners or internal team meetings when required
Requirements:
Fluent in Portuguese, with a good level of written and spoken English
3–5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally in an online or technology-driven company
Experience managing outbound sales activities and closing new business
Comfortable working with targets and taking responsibility for results
Nice to have:
Experience in the restaurant, hospitality or food & beverage industry, especially selling to HORECA customers
Experience with direct contact sales, including cold calling and face-to-face meetings
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience managing a sales territory and pipeline using Salesforce or another CRM tool
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and spoken
Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
Well organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
