Job Description:

Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. These robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. Starship has now completed millions of autonomous deliveries to date, traveled millions of miles, and is currently doing more than 140k road crossings each day. Our contribution to society includes reducing congestion, and pollution, providing zero-emissions deliveries, increasing the quality of life for residents, empowering seniors and disabled people, and enabling affordable delivery for local businesses. We are revolutionizing last-mile delivery across the UK. By installing and securing wireless charging hubs on private business land, you'll be instrumental in supporting and rapidly scaling our expanding fleet of delivery robots.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and secure charging locations: Source, qualify, and approach businesses with suitable private land for our wireless robot charging installations, targeting a diverse portfolio from local small businesses to major nationwide chains
  • Generate and qualify pipeline: Proactively research potential deployment sites, build a strategically prioritized pipeline of site acquisition opportunities across UK
  • Conduct detailed site assessments: Visit prospective locations to evaluate technical and logistical suitability, capture precise site details, and identify any considerations for optimal robot charging infrastructure placement
  • Lead negotiations: Manage the full end-to-end negotiation process with property owners, portfolio managers, and key decision-makers to secure favourable, long-term lease or partnership agreements
  • Drive contract closure: Expertly drive complex deals through to completion, ensuring all legal and commercial terms are precisely agreed upon, documented, and fully signed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally in property, infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, or site acquisition
  • Practical familiarity with the UK commercial property landscape and regional market dynamics
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven mentality, comfortable taking ownership and working independently with minimal supervision to meet ambitious targets
  • A confident negotiator, skilled in managing complex commercial discussions and closing high-value agreements
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel: Essential for regular, independent travel and site visits across your defined territory
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with business owners, property managers, and senior stakeholders
  • Right to work in the UK
What we offer:
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Mileage allowance
  • Access to the employee benefits program
  • Bonus system: £500 bonus per contract signed in the first 3 months, and £300 bonus per contract for the remaining period
