Arrow is looking for a Field Sales Manager who will lead a group of Supplier Managers and serve as the relationship manager between Arrow and its key suppliers. This role is part of immixGroup, a division of Arrow that helps technology companies do business with the government. The primary focus is to drive positive results for Arrow and our suppliers in three critical areas: Revenue Growth & Profit Enhancement, Demand Creation, and Relationship Development.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a group of Supplier Managers
Serve as the relationship manager between Arrow and its key suppliers
Drive positive results in Revenue Growth & Profit Enhancement, Demand Creation, and Relationship Development
Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers
Be responsible for top line growth and maximizing profitability for the assigned supplier
Develop programs, drive strategies, and solutions to drive results
Build lasting relationships with Arrow and assigned suppliers
Be responsible for developing the business plan and comprehensive marketing plan
Collaborate across Arrow functional areas
Drive and work with team to develop and execute strategies to grow sales/market share
Build influential relationships with key decision makers up to C-level
Be the point of contact between Arrow and its suppliers
Manage team to partner with the sales team
Be a supplier advocate within Arrow
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 10 years of combined experience in supporting technology suppliers as a Supplier Manager, Account Manager, Vendor Relationship Manager, or similar function
Experience with server, storage, or networking IT suppliers is a plus (e.g. NetApp, HPE, Aruba, Citrix, UKG, etc.)
Experience supporting and understanding technology alliance solution suppliers
Experience managing a team of direct reports
Experience selling to/working with the federal government as a distributor or within the IT Sales Channel
Experience with federal contracting (GSA, SEWP, ITES, 2GIT, etc.)
Experience solving complex problems
Experience contributing to process improvements
Travel Requirements: 25%
Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements with the federal government
Nice to have:
