We are looking for a proactive Field Sales Engineer to drive sales through technical expertise, client relationships, and customized solutions in the Saudi territory. Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within Saudi Arabia & Bahrain for Food & Pharma After Sales.
Job Responsibility:
Execute established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval aftermarket products and services, including service solutions, spare parts, and upgrades
Analyze market trends, installed base data, and customer buying behavior to develop aftermarket sales plans aligned with business division strategy and targets, in collaboration with senior sales colleagues and team leaders
Identify, qualify, and manage aftermarket leads from the market and existing customers, converting them into tangible business opportunities to ensure a healthy sales pipeline
Actively engage with customers through regular visits, meetings, and interactions to understand operational challenges and demonstrate the value of Alfa Laval aftermarket solutions
Manage day-to-day sales operations by maintaining accurate customer data, customer grids, and proactive planning through internal sales and CRM tools
Prepare and deliver value-based quotations tailored to customer needs, clearly highlighting unique selling points such as lifecycle cost reduction, performance optimization, and reliability, and ensure timely follow-up
Consistently use CRM and other internal tools to support the aftermarket sales process, ensure high-quality data, and enable fact-based decision-making
Requirements:
Engineering Graduate or Diploma holder
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aftermarket sales, internal sales, or service sales, preferably within the Food and/or Pharma industry
Strong experience in quotation management, customer communication, and customer account support
Good understanding of installed base management and lifecycle-driven selling is an advantage
Language skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic
Market exposure: Familiarity with the KSA market is an added advantage
