We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to drive sales growth within the Service Energy division by promoting Alfa Laval’s service portfolio, developing strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across assigned territories. In this customer-facing role, you will combine technical understanding with commercial execution to support customers through value-based service solutions, including maintenance, upgrades, spare parts and long-term service agreements. You will work closely with internal sales teams, service operations and division leaders to execute sales strategies, manage opportunities and strengthen Alfa Laval’s market presence through proactive customer engagement. This is a dynamic field sales role where success depends on your ability to understand customer needs, manage pipelines effectively and convert opportunities into sustainable business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and service solutions
Analyze market trends, customer behavior and business opportunities to develop effective sales plans aligned with divisional strategy
Identify, develop and manage leads from market activity and customer interactions to ensure a strong sales pipeline
Conduct regular customer visits, meetings and technical-commercial interactions to understand customer needs and promote value-based solutions
Manage customer grids, sales planning and operational activities proactively through internal tools
Develop tailored value propositions and quotations that reflect customer requirements while highlighting Alfa Laval’s unique selling points
Maintain CRM and sales tools consistently and accurately to support forecasting, pipeline management and decision-making
Collaborate with service teams and internal stakeholders to ensure strong commercial execution and customer satisfaction
Support long-term customer relationships while driving sustainable sales growth
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical or related field
Proven experience in technical sales, field sales or service sales
Experience in industrial sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, manufacturing, utilities or related markets
Knowledge of service solutions, aftermarket sales or industrial equipment
Strong understanding of customer needs analysis and value-based selling
Experience using CRM systems and structured sales processes
