Requirements

Strong commitment to safety and compliance, with a proactive approach to working in line with site procedures and reporting requirements
Experience recording and processing field or sample data accurately, with good attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced exploration environment
Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including heat and site-based field environments
Practical and hands-on, with sound problem-solving skills and the ability to support a range of exploration and drill program activities
Current manual WA driver’s licence required, with prior field assistant or exploration experience highly regarded

Job Responsibility

Support daily exploration activities by working closely with the Exploration Team to ensure tasks are planned, coordinated and completed accurately
Assist with field administration, including pre-starts, vehicle checks and health and safety reporting
Oversee drill site pad preparation and access to exploration areas across site and regional locations
Collect, package, record and dispatch samples from RC and diamond drilling programs
Complete core processing activities including mark-up, presentation, geotechnical measurements, cutting, sampling, photography and XRF measurements
Maintain accurate sample and geological data records, while keeping exploration work areas, storage facilities and vehicles organised, safe and well maintained
