Job Responsibility

  • Lead on-site delivery of installation, reactive maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across the Scottish region
  • Take charge of a two-person crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
  • Set the standard for safe working practices, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Manage site operations, including overseeing the use of tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Coordinate with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders professionally and effectively
  • Maintain accurate administration and reporting of site activities, including PPM documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications and company standards
  • Support the growth of the regional operations by maintaining consistency and quality on the ground

Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence is essential
  • Practical and mechanical skills, including confident use of power tools and associated equipment
  • Experience in construction, highways, street furniture installation, or similar site-based work
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety requirements and safe working practices
  • Ability to take charge on site and make sensible, informed decisions independently
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and local authorities
  • Proven organisational skills and attention to detail in reporting and administration
  • Desirable: Experience in cycle parking, street furniture, or related infrastructure projects
  • Desirable: SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, CSCS card, First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with PPM documentation and maintenance reporting systems
