Field Merchandising Director

• Leads and manages the Merchandising Department within a Business Unit
• Directs merchandising plans, execution priorities, and operational processes to achieve financial objectives
• Utilizes local sales, research and current trend analytics to develop strategy for categories
• Supervises the warehousing and distribution of most products and services
• Oversees and supports strategic decisions from National and Regional level
• Oversees operational aspects of merchandise execution
• Expand brand presence in each market by developing annual marketing plan
• Analyzes financial results and recommends promotions and category changes
• Anticipates and reacts to competitive activity within each market
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing annual budget and scheduling expenditures

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred
• Ten years of experience or more preferred
• Minimum of seven years of management responsibility
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• May require up to 50% travel
